Zoom for MTC: Setup and Live Classes
For every MTC student and staff member: installing Zoom on a computer or phone, joining your live classes from the LMS, taking part properly, and fixing the problems that come up. About two hours.
MTC runs live classes and meetings through Zoom, and you reach them from inside the Learning Management System. This short course sets you up on whichever device you use and shows you how to join and take part.
It takes about two hours and covers both a computer and a phone, so work through the module for the device you will actually use in class and skim the other.
By the end you will have Zoom installed and tested, know exactly where your classes appear in the LMS, know when the join button opens, and know what to do when the sound or the connection fails.
